My table saw has a 3/4" miter slot, so this adapter is the difference between my Bench Dog featherboards being useful tools for accurate and safe woodworking or being junk (for my table saw). My only irritation lies with the slot adapter not being offered or recommended when I purchased the featherboard. If it had been, that would have saved me some time as I could have purchased them together. As for the slot adapter, it connects to my featherboards easily and works as needed in my miter gage slot.
I bought this for the Craftsman 10" Tablesaw (Sears item# 00921805000).It does not work with it, though it is a solid piece and looks like it would do the job for other table saws that are wide enough to accept it.
Bought the featherboards seperately thinking that they came with the slot inserts. These slot adapters fit perfectly into the featherboards and I now have 2 functional units.

I had looked into making my own, til I saw the ad for this unit. It is neat, easy to adjust & lock. I purchased it, am very happy with the choice. It works for both my portable table saw, and my router table.
